A rich, deliciously chocolaty scented balm, in a stick! When I used to sell skincare products at the market, Rosy Cheeks would always sell out, ALWAYS! I made them so I could have a “portable” soothing balm for my kids during our windy winter months – you can read the story of its creation here (it is a pretty hilarious read). The balm was so popular that I still have costumers asking for Rosy Cheeks for their kids, winter or summer. A costumer used to use it for quickly moisturizing her face and lips during hikes in the summer or skiing during the winter.
Only 3 ingredients but excellent for babies’ gentle skin, and ours as well!
Rosy Cheeks Baby Balm
11 g cocoa butter
4 g coconut oil
20 g sweet almond oil
4-5 lip balm tubes
Place the lip balm tubes in the fridge. In a heat proof container weigh the cocoa butter, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil. Melt in a double boiler while mixing the oils with a bamboo stick or a spoon. Once the oils have melted, take the tubes out of the fridge and pour the oil phase into the lip balm tubes. Allow to cool off in the fridge with the cap off for 24h.
It’s that simple! Use on your baby’s face whenever needed.
