Happy Monday folks!
Samuel’s first Halloween weekend! A milestone celebrated with costume, treat bag, pumpkin carving and lots of friend and family time.
The three of us temporarily transformed in Gomez, Morticia and Pubert Adams, and headed to a friend’s party. There was face painting by the exceptionally talented Wandering Brush and Samuel got his first Halloween treats, i.e. a pumpkin shape eraser and notebook.
The next day, pumpkin carving ensued. In our household that means a station with 3 bowls, one for seeds that will be roasted, another for the pulp which will become jam, and a compost bowl for the stringy parts. The cousins also stopped by and helped with pizza making, well, at least with the cheese eating part.
On Wednesday we will put our costumes again but until then much baking will take place to fill the treat bags of our friends’ kiddies.
Have a wonderful week! Make it count.
